Today on our 2011 Dodge Dakota, we'll be installing and taking a look at the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, class three with a two inch opening, part number 13229. Here's what our Curt Trailer Hitch looks like installed on our Dodge Dakota. Very easy, three bolt installation, and it requires no drilling, using the assisting holes from the factory to install it. It's made from a nice sturdy steel construction, has nice black inaudible 00:00:23 finish that's going to resist rust and corrosion. This is a class three with a two inch by two inch opening and a five inch pinhole. You have easy access to your chain hold downs here when you hook up to your trailer for your safety chains, and this hitch is rated for 500 pounds of tongue weight and 5000 pounds of towing capability. You always want to double check your vehicle's capacity, and use whichever is lower between the vehicle and the hitch.
